Federal Minister for Social Welfare and Special Education Zobaida Jalal held a meeting with the Director Unesco Islamabad, Jorge Sequeira, here on Wednesday and discussed matters relating to welfare and special education.

The Unesco Representative offered technical assistance to Pakistan in setting up a strategic plan for developing a long-term future vision in these fields in addition to assisting the ministry in getting legal expertise for drafting legislation to ensure implementation of laws in the fields of juvenile justice, child labour including domestic workers, improving the plight of street children and taking care of the children living in jails with their mothers.
